My Favorite Cream Cheese Frosting

My Favorite Cream Cheese Frosting
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
1 pound powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
up to 3 Tbsp. cream or milk to thin, if needed

Blend softened cream cheese and butter in mixer. Beat in sugar, salt and vanilla. If needed, beat in tiny amounts of cream or milk to bring to spreading consistency.
