Peanut Butter Squares

Peanut Butter Squares
1 lb powdered sugar
18 oz peanut butter (creamy or crunchy, but recommend a high quality brand)
½ cup white granulated sugar
1 ½ teaspoon vanilla
1 stick butter, melted
½ cup water

Mix all together and press into pan. Use 8x8 for thick fudge or 9x13 for quite thin.

Melt 6 oz chocolate chips with 1 stick of butter over low heat in a saucepan. Pour over the top of the peanut butter mixture. Let sit to harden before cutting.

  1. These sound divine! How in the world did I not know you had a food blog? I am going to put this on my list to scour from top to bottom, especially all the stuff you can!

One question? Are these recipes you have used over and over and you love or are they one's that you are trying?

I am so excited about this blog :)

    Blessings, Faith

  2. Faith, I have no idea how you missed that I have this blog. Could it be that you are building a new house, or taking care of your lovely family, or on and on and on? Silly!

I try to make a note if I haven't tried a recipe, but most are ones that have been enjoyed and are in the rotation, for at least a while. these squares are a BIG hit. They keep getting requested.
